I am under the radar because I am unknown to the SEO Phil community. I am just curious about what you guys have been doing over the past few years and that curiosity led me to join the SEOcontest2008 and of course, the SEO guru near the beach convinced me to join too.
Oh well, seocontest2008.com org and I probably have the same observations on how we, Filipinos are taking this contest. We are like our geographical location… How is that? We are like islands that are separated and divided in some ways.
There are Filipino contestants that play the SEOcontest2008 as a team however, it is not yet enough show of our teamwork as a whole. The truth is, we can simply dominate this contest without a question once we really sit down and talk about our strategy as a team in honor of our race. But it is not what’s happening now.
We are what we are. We overly install in us that self-glorification even if we put the sure ball winnings at stake for other races to grab.
In fairness though, we have traces and bits of unity which are obvious in the SEOcontest2008 however, for long, it will not be good enough. I envy the Bulgarians and French SEO contestants because it seems natural for them to collaborate and build sturdy foundation even in the early days of the contest.
SEOcontest2008 is just a fragment and ephemeral event but what is more lasting is how we Filipinos are acting/doing during this contest. It seems like we are missing the better part or essence of this contest. It is not all about the money just like what I told my SEO friend near the beach or even the prestige/honor this SEOcontest2008 can bring rather it is more on the essential part. The relationship we build with your fellow contestants and most especially to the Filipino SEO-zers.
We are the microscopic instance of what is happening in our country. I am sure the other races who joined the SEOcontest2008 are probably nodding their heads about what this post is telling everyone.
Our callousness and self-glorification is eating us all up. Look at the country we have. I am not an exemption here.
This is not sermon rather this is just my personal observation on how we- Filipinos are taking this SEOcontest2008. Like I said before, SEOcontest2008- the Filipino way…
As always, I am a pro-active breed. I don’t just settle for nothing. I always think of ways and means to alleviate if not solve the problem at hand.
As of this writing, I think we should be standing tall as Filipinos to show them that we can make a difference even with this SEOcontest2008. We can be united. Di ba?
How can we do that? Link and build! You know what that means more than a newbie like me. Alisin mga banyaga sa unang pahina para malaman nilang tayo ay mas magagaling sa kanila.
Benj, Eli, Garry, Ed Canape, Zaldy, Jehzeel ,Kenneth, Dennis,Mito Pontillas,Moslemen,Neil Maranan,Leo Mirabuna,Edward Santillan,Cheryl Estorgio,Philip Tiangson, IcezOrg, Eric Marantanan,Allan,Almer,Kojak,Ricusa,Christian,Francis,Ronald and Jules.
I think it is about time. Ayaw nyo bang lahat ng Pinoy ang nasa Top Ten? Di ba masaya? It will be written in the book of SEO history. I am sure.
