Surprised to learn 8 dollar prescription glasses is from Zenni!

As I read this article in NY times Seeing Straight Without Breaking Bank, I was wondering who my friend told me was selling Prescription eyeglasses for only $8! and boy, it was a shock to see Zenni Optical in the New York Times! as these are actually the very same eye wear that I and my family prefers to wear.
